Development status
Showduino is under active development. Features, hardware roles and software interfaces may change while the platform is completed and tested.
Local project responsibility
Some projects and settings may be stored in browser storage. You are responsible for exporting backups of important work. Browser resets, private-browsing sessions, device loss or cleared website data can remove local data.
Hardware safety
Showduino can control electrical, lighting, audio and mechanical equipment. Users are responsible for correct wiring, suitable power supplies, fusing, isolation, emergency-stop design and compliance with applicable safety requirements. Experimental software must not be treated as the sole protection for hazardous equipment.
Runtime responsibility
The current Showduino architecture is designed around an authoritative ESP32-P4 Show Engine. Browser previews, Studio controls and operator interfaces should not be treated as substitutes for appropriate physical safety systems.
No guaranteed paid service
Unless a specific page clearly states otherwise, no paid hardware or subscription commitment is offered through this development website.
Acceptable use
Do not use the website or software to interfere with systems you do not own or have permission to control, distribute malicious content or attempt unauthorised access.
HauntSync creator profiles
Creating a Showduino ID and saving a profile does not list it publicly. If you choose to publish a creator page, you agree to display the selected username, public name, biography, creator focus, optional website and avatar publicly. You can unpublish a creator page through its owner-only profile editor. Public .shdo files are published and removed separately.
HauntSync public show sharing and reuse
Sharing a .shdo template is optional. When publishing, you confirm you created the material or hold permission to distribute it, and select either CC BY 4.0 (attribution required) or CC0 1.0 (public-domain dedication). Only upload content you are authorised to share. Do not include credentials, personal information, copyrighted media you cannot license, malicious instructions or unsafe equipment configurations. Published templates may be reported and removed or hidden if inappropriate. Unsharing prevents future downloads from HauntSync but cannot revoke previously downloaded copies. Users must inspect and adapt all community productions before connecting or operating physical equipment.
Availability
Development services are provided without a guarantee of continuous availability or compatibility with every browser, board, node or hardware configuration.
