Local project data
Showduino Studio and HauntSync can store projects, device inventories, autosaves and interface preferences in browser storage. Export important productions as `.shdo` backups before clearing browser site data.
Account and cloud services
Where account or cloud features are enabled, they are used to provide signed-in project access and related Showduino services. Cloud services are separate from the live P4 Show Engine runtime and are not required to keep a loaded show running.
Sign in with Google
If you choose Google sign-in, Google authenticates you and shares permitted identity details such as your email address and display name with Showduino through Supabase Auth. It is optional: email/password sign-in remains available. Showduino never receives your Google password, and this sign-in does not request access to Google Drive, contacts or other Google services.
HauntSync creator profile photos
If you choose to upload a profile photo, the image is stored in Showduino's Supabase media storage and linked to your Showduino account. The rest of your profile remains private unless you explicitly publish a separate public creator page. The photo itself is served through a public image URL and can be viewed by anyone who has that URL. Avoid uploading private or sensitive images. Only your signed-in account can add or delete its stored photos. Replacing or removing a photo updates your profile and attempts to remove the old stored image; previously cached copies or saved links may persist elsewhere.
Public creator directory
Your account and creator profile are private by default. If you press Publish on your profile page, HauntSync creates an intentionally public snapshot of your chosen username, display name, biography, creative focus, optional HTTPS website and optional avatar URL. It can be viewed by other visitors and linked from any publicly shared .shdo files. Your login email, private projects, saved hardware and password are not included. Updating your private profile does not automatically update this published copy; press Publish again to refresh it.
You can unpublish your creator page at any time from the profile editor. The public listing will be removed, but cached copies and previous downloads may remain. Unpublishing a profile does not automatically unshare any .shdo files that you separately chose to publish.
Account and data requests
To ask about accessing, correcting or deleting personal account data, contact showduino38@gmail.com. The website does not yet offer a complete self-service export or permanent account-deletion function. Clearing browser storage or signing out does not delete data stored in your cloud account.
HauntSync community SHDO sharing
If you choose to publish a Showduino production in the community show library, its title, summary, your creator display name, selected sharing licence and a sanitised copy of the production become publicly downloadable. Your private cloud projects and local saved shows are not published automatically. We remove known hardware identifiers, asset paths and other private fields from the community copy, but titles, cue labels and authored parameter values may still reveal details; review your file before publishing. You can unshare your post, but copies others downloaded may remain available to them. Community templates must be checked and adapted to the receiving installation before any show runs.
Payments
No current Showduino hardware purchase or paid subscription service is being offered through this development website unless a specific page clearly states otherwise.
Support messages
The support form prepares a message in your own email application. The website does not upload the message before you choose to send it.
Third-party services
Some website functions and links may use external providers such as source-code hosting, content delivery or account infrastructure. Their own privacy terms apply to data handled by those services.
